Part-Time Public Works Employee – Village of Iron Ridge

Candidate must be willing to learn and be trained.  This individual will be responsible for helping to maintain streets and parks, as well as assisting with operation and maintenance of the Village’s water & waste water system.  Duties shall include, but will not be limited to plowing snow, patching streets, painting traffic markings, basic repair and maintenance of trucks, tractor, and other equipment, mowing lawn, basic daily maintenance of lawn mowers, basic maintenance and repairs of the Village Hall and other Village-owned property, as well as all other routine tasks as assigned by the Director of Public Works.  The successful applicant must be able to work independently on assigned tasks.  Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays, mostly for plowing.  Might be called in for other emergencies.  Hours for this position may vary.  The applicant must have a valid WI Driver’s License, a good driving record & will need to be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
